What To Expect

Provide independent legal advice on data protection matters in day-to-day business as well as on strategic and project-related topics, particularly at the intersection of IT and e-commerce
Provide legal support in the development and implementation of e-commerce projects, IT systems, business processes, and contracts at both national and international level
Advise on general legal matters relating to e-commerce
Provide data protection support on complex national and international transactions and restructurings
Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders across various departments as well as external law firms
Work directly with and regularly exchange with the Director of Legal & Compliance

Who You Are

Successfully completed law studies and passed both German State Examinations in Law; ideally with at least one exam graded “fully satisfactory” (vollbefriedigend) or above
3+ years of relevant professional experience, e.g., at an internationally operating law firm or an international company
Fluent German and English skills, both written and spoken
Strong affinity for technology and a keen interest in quickly familiarizing yourself with new digital and legal topics
Structured and solution-oriented approach, with the ability to quickly grasp complex matters and communicate them in a clear and comprehensible way
Strong team player with flexibility and initiative, and an interest in working with diverse stakeholders in a dynamic and international environment
