SCAYLE Payments enables smooth and innovative payment processes in the ABOUT YOU online fashion store, including the introduction of new marketplace functionalities. As a subsidiary of ABOUT YOU Group and a Federal Financial Supervisory Authority (BaFin)-regulated Payment Services Supervision Act (ZAG) institute, SCAYLE Payments takes care of all important aspects of payment transactions: From the integration of payment service providers and payment methods at the Online-Fashion-Stores checkout to the deposit and payout processes of end customers and merchants. The team’s objective is to make payment transactions in e-commerce simpler, safer, and future-oriented. To achieve this goal, SCAYLE Payments comprises various departments working together.

    The Product Team of SCAYLE Payments is on a mission to develop and launch a modern payment processing platform that empowers the ABOUT YOU Online-Fashion-Store to efficiently onboard customers as merchants and process payments for them. We focus on delivering a scalable and secure solution that streamlines transaction processing and optimizes financial workflows. We support the introduction of further marketplace functionalities to strengthen sustainable growth and contribute to increased profitability.

    Our Finance & Operations Team ensures that all our financial transactions and processes are accurate and compliant, meeting the highest BaFin standards. We turn financial and operational data into actionable insights, driving performance and efficiency across  the ABOUT YOU Group. Committed to financial and operational excellence, we empower the ABOUT YOU Group to steer toward success with precision and integrity.

    Business & Project Development

    The Strategy & Business Development team drives impact and innovation within SCAYLE Payments in different ways: From leading key strategic initiatives in collaboration with ABOUT YOU to become the most comprehensive fashion platform in Europe with an inspiring shopping experience in all fashion and lifestyle categories. We work with diverse and cross-functional teams of strategy and subject matter experts with backgrounds from the industry, startups, and consultancies.

    Risk & Controls

    At SCAYLE Payments, the Risk & Controls Team ensures our business thrives securely and responsibly. In Enterprise Risk Management, we proactively identify, assess, and mitigate potential threats to our company across all departments and business operations to provide a clear understanding of the risk landscape. In internal Controls, we constantly evaluate and improve processes, fostering a culture of accountability and transparency. Outsourcing Management oversees all aspects of third-party relationships while minimizing associated risks. In Business Continuity, we anticipate potential disruptions to business operations and develop comprehensive plans to minimize downtime and ensure a rapid recovery.

    Governance

    Our goal is to build a foundation of trust by operating securely, ethically, and compliantly. The Governance unit protects SCAYLE Payments and its corporate customers through robust information security practices to safeguards sensitive information and critical systems by developing and enforcing security policies and procedures, assess and mitigate IT related risks, and manage security controls across the company. MaRisk Compliance ensures adherence to key financial regulations. By adhering to these regulations, we maintain a transparent, ethical, and trustworthy reputation within the financial landscape.

    Anti Financial Crime

    Anti-Financial Crime at SCAYLE Payments stands as a dedicated line of defense against financial crime, safeguarding both our company and our valued users.
