At SCAYLE Payments, Product Managers help build innovative payments products our customers love. Product development is an extremely collaborative effort between finance, risk & compliance, engineering, and customer-facing teams. In order to grow, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Product Manager (m/f/d) to join our dynamic team. You will play a key role in driving the development and enhancement of our post-transactional product domain. As a key member of our organization, you will play a pivotal role in managing the complete payment lifecycle, from customer checkout to post-transactional activities like reconciliation, payout, settlement and reporting.
What you will do
Lead the strategic vision, product discovery and roadmap for one of our core product domains, ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer needs
- Collaborate closely with numerous stakeholders to drive the successful delivery of our products
- Demonstrate expertise in prioritizing and resolving operational issues, identifying technical dependencies, and assessing their impact on the business
- Analyze payment data and trends to identify opportunities for optimization, revenue growth, and cost reduction
- Act as a role model for your team, inspiring motivation, enthusiasm, and critical thinking while actively driving progress within your assigned product domain
- Encourage logical reasoning and strategic decision-making to tackle complex challenges and achieve product goals effectively
Who you are
You have a minimum of 5 years of experience in fintech product management, demonstrating a solid grasp of one of the following post-transactional processes: reconciliation, settlement and payout
- You have a solid understanding of financial principles, accounting practices, and treasury operations
- You are familiar with financial tools and systems, such as ERP software, treasury management systems, and accounting software
- You are familiar with diverse payment methods, encompassing credit/debit cards, alternative payment methods (APMs) like PayPal, Klarna, digital wallets such as ApplePay, GooglePay and local payment methods (LPMs) like iDeal, PayU, Pix, Sofort, SEPA, etc.
- You are familiar with payment industry regulations, compliance, and security standards such as PCI DSS, GDPR, and PSD2 in the European region
- You are data-savvy, and love to use analytics to identify improvements on performance or commercial opportunities
- You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- You are self-motivated and results-oriented, with a passion for innovation and a commitment to delivering exceptional products and services
Nice to have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
- You have experience working with payment service providers like Adyen, Klarna, PayPal, PayU, Nexi/Concardis, etc and have a solid understanding of at least one of their settlement & payout processes
Additional Information
**Working model:
Due to the upcoming tasks and responsibilities for this position, it is required to work onsite at our headquarters in Hamburg on a weekly basis. Therefore we’ve implemented a hybrid working model that allows us to work remotely on Mondays and Fridays and to work onsite from Tuesday to Thursday.
