The requirements include increasing supply chain transparency and traceability, analyzing and reducing greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, and sharing Higg BRM results. This document applies to our business partners but excludes ABOUT YOU’s Second Love category and all private-label suppliers

ABOUT YOU is committed to being a more sustainable fashion e-commerce platform, and this should be reflected in the products we sell. With this Private Label Sustainable Sourcing Policy, we set current and future sourcing requirements for ABOUT YOU private label products and relevant business partners, to actively shape our assortment and our impact on the environment and people. The requirements within the policy include increasing supply chain transparency, increasing risk management, and improving our social and environmental performance beyond minimum (legal) requirements.

ABOUT YOU’s Restricted Substances List (RSL) relates to the finished product and lists substances and groups of substances that are either permitted to a limited extent or banned completely in the finished product. The RSL is used as a tool to support regulatory compliance with global product safety standards.

At ABOUT YOU, we assume responsibility on a product level to promote animal welfare standards and conserve biodiversity. Our Animal Welfare Policy sets the foundation for a compliance framework rendered around good animal welfare practices applying to all related business transactions. Within this policy, we set out principles on permitted and prohibited materials (including wool, leather, skins and fur) for business partners. This policy applies to all business partners who supply products to us, but excludes the second-hand products offered in our Second Love category.
