We are currently looking for a skilled & passionate App Technical Lead (m/f/d) to join our Shop Applications Team. 

The Shop Applications Team constantly improves the App, Mobile Website and Desktop Website. These big-scale products are each visited by 30 million people every month. The team’s focus is to provide the most inspiring, convenient, intuitive, and easy-to-use shopping experience for our customers. They constantly challenge themselves to raise the bar of what is “state of the art” in customer-facing products.

Challenges the team will be working on in the next 12 months:

• Improving the customer experience by continuously implementing new features, optimizing user flow, and increasing technical performance
• Optimizing the eCommerce performance based on A/B Tests and KPI goals
• Optimizing the architecture of the app towards better testability
• Migrating the app to a new backend approach and taking part in the design of new endpoints to ensure ease of use and performance 
• Making the app ready for expansion into more markets

What you will do

• The team and you will be working on the main ABOUT YOU App which is currently distributed in over 20 countries and has a 4.6 rating
• ‚Play an active part’ in building complex & highly scalable technical solutions in close cooperation with our Tech and Product Leads
• ‘Lead/manage and support’  a world-class team of engineers, product managers, QA’s, and collaborate with designers to ship  impactful & innovative features to our customers
• Help shape the Shop Applications team’s development processes, draft architectural decisions and ensure reliable and state-of-the-art products
• Work within a dynamic & international environment with an agile working culture using methodologies such as SCRUM or Kanban
• Make sure that technical debt is addressed and technical topics have a strong voice in prioritization

Who you are

• You are very proficient in developing high-scalable software products
• You have a deep understanding about Software Architecture
• You write well architectured, efficient and maintainable code and actively keep the quality of the codebase in check
• You have experience in native or cross platform mobile development, and are comfortable diving into the code, while interacting with developers at all levels of seniority
• You are comfortable working with senior stakeholders (Directors or C-Suite), both technical and non-technical
• You have prior experience leading team(s), in a fast-changing environment
• You think and act like an entrepreneur and take decisions based on important business metrics
• You remain hands on and get involved in code from time to time
• You are a servant leader
• You have successfully built and grown teams of engineers previously
