Country Manager Israel (m/f/d)

Working closely with our Business Development team as well as all operational teams, the International Markets team is involved in the entire development process – from identifying new markets to the scaling of existing markets. If you know the Israeli Market by heart and have profound business knowledge achieved through first hand experience in an e-commerce business, you are the perfect fit for the team.

As a Country Manager Israel (m/f/d) you will have an essential impact on our future development and pull the strings for our market growth in Israel.

Responsibilities

  • Preparation and organization of the Israeli market launch

  • Operational monitoring and quality assurance of our Israelian online shop(s)
  • Evaluation of KPIs of our Israeli online shop(s)
  • Performance of a variety of analyses related to the Israeli market
  • Acceleration of growth along all dimensions: E.g. assortment, pricing or user experience across devices
  • Strong collaboration with different teams such as online marketing, logistics and shop development
  • Involvement in various company projects, e.g. acquiring new local partners/brands or implementing new payment processes
  • Preparation, implementation and monitoring of new strategic and operational initiatives in our Israeli online shop

Requirements

  • Very good university degree in business management or comparable degree

  • Experience in an eCommerce company (or similar)
  • Profound knowledge of the Israeli culture and retail landscape
  • Proficient with MS Office (especially Excel)
  • Native speaker competence in Hebrew (oral & written)
  • Fluency in English (oral & written), basic German skills
  • Distinct understanding of numbers and analytical way of working
  • Strong communicational skills
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and sense of responsibility
