In 2018, TB International initially joined our Drop Shipping model in order to strengthen their footprint in five Western European markets: Germany, Austria, Switzerland, the Netherlands and Belgium. TB International achieved strong growth thanks to the Drop Shipping model, which allows partners to use the power of the ABOUT YOU platform while using their own fulfillment and logistic capabilities.

Unlike with the Drop Shipping model, the FbAY model allows partners to use ABOUT YOU’s recognition in other European markets and its existing fulfillment infrastructure to immediately gain traction across markets. The FbAY model lived up to the ambitions of TB International by significantly reducing time to market, offering full international coverage and at the same time allowing for complete flexibility on their own assortment.

Taking into consideration these major advantages offered by ABOUT YOU, TB International took a two-tiered market expansion approach by relying on ABOUT YOU’s operating models. The start through Drop Shipping gave TB International a solid understanding of what ABOUT YOU’s cooperation models are capable of. It allowed the company to test their offer in respective markets and derive insights related to assortment and customer demands. Secondly, the company was willing to further grow the partnership with ABOUT YOU and to offer their assortment in 26 countries via one integration. The continuous increase of product count further pushed the international acknowledgement and resulted in even higher revenue numbers.
