As the buying team, we take care of the purchasing of all products and the regular expansion of the ABOUT YOU brand portfolio. We are always on the lookout for exciting, new and timeless fashion and lifestyle trends from all over the world. To this end, we define seasonal product range strategies and draw up seasonal and financial plans. We manage all purchasing budgets ourselves and also analyze and evaluate KPIs. A good relationship with our suppliers is important to us, which is why we take care to maintain good relationships and contact with our partners. As our new (Junior) Business Analyst (m/f/d), you will support our Buying team in creating dashboards and reports, performing analyses, and preparing data. In addition, you will work closely with the various stakeholders to understand their daily business and develop data solutions to improve their processes.
Responsibilities
Reviewing and improving our reports
- Creating and maintaining custom dashboards based on Google BigQuery (e.g., in Google Data Studio, Tableau) to display various KPIs
- Creating and maintaining reports to support the teams’ daily work
- Improving and driving the implementation of automated business processes
- Performing analyses based on various data sources with SQL
- Developing a comprehensive understanding of the various planning and purchasing metrics and KPIs
Requirements
Good academic performance and a degree in economics, business, or business analytics
- 1-2 years of professional experience or relevant internships in a comparable position in the e-commerce, fashion or retail environment
- Good understanding of the e-commerce business model and related business KPIs.
- Knowledge of SQL is advantageous or the willingness and ability to learn it quickly.
- Very good written and spoken English skills
- Strong analytical skills and a strong understanding of numbers
