Working Student Logistics Data Analytics (m/f/d)

We, the logistics team, are responsible for managing and expanding the ABOUT YOU logistics network. We coordinate co-operation with national and international logistics partners. We always keep an eye on our relevant key figures and continuously develop our logistics processes in order to offer our customers the best possible shopping experience. Together, we manage the day-to-day operations of our warehouse and transport service providers around the world. We use KPIs and reporting systems to coordinate and monitor the daily flow of goods and to continuously develop and adapt our existing logistics network and infrastructure. We take care of all logistics services for our warehouse network, all transport services and, of course, the packaging materials used. We do not focus on individual areas, but take a universal approach: we face operational challenges and develop strategic recommendations for action. As a Working Student Logistics Data Analytics (m/f/d), you will be involved in monitoring the entire logistics process from incoming goods to returns and will help with fulfillment tech projects in addition to operational processes. With your commitment and enthusiasm for data and logistics projects, you will accompany us on our mission to ensure the best possible shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Support with current data pipeline and reporting projects in the area of logistics & fulfillment tech

  • Support in developing dashboards, queries and data models for logistics processes
  • Preparation and support of data analyses and presentations
  • Testing and investigating data quality issues
  • Support with creation of documentation of existing data tools and systems
  • Participation in Scrum processes

Requirements:

  • Ongoing studies in Data Analytics, Industrial Engineering, Logistics or a comparable degree programme

  • Good understanding of SQL and databases
  • Exposure to Python or any other programming languages
  • Exposure to data modelling and ETL processes is beneficial
  • Experience with dashboarding tool such as Tableau or Looker Studio is beneficial
  • Initial practical experience in a logistics or ecommerce company is beneficial
  • Good MS Office or Google Docs skills (especially spreadsheets)
  • Interest in technical systems
  • Business fluent in English, German optional
