ABOUT OUR TEAM
Our Corporate Sustainability Team develops and implements ABOUT YOU’s sustainability strategy. Our tasks include working with legal requirements, analysing ESG frameworks, developing roadmaps and coordinating with internal stakeholders and external partners. Specifically, we are working on reducing greenhouse gas emissions and have set ourselves ambitious targets, implementing human rights due diligence and annual ESG reporting. We also structure all sustainability issues within the organisation and track our progress using agreed KPIs and measures.
ABOUT YOUR ROLE
As a Working Student (m/f/d) – Corporate Sustainability you will work closely on the core of our sustainability strategy. You will focus on measuring our greenhouse gas emissions, tracking internal key figures, developing reduction measures, working with our internal teams, establishing reduction targets, reporting and implementing the requirements of the CSRD (Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive). You will also be responsible for recording energy and environmental indicators for our rented space. In this role, you will deal a lot with requirements and data and link them as efficiently as possible. You will also work as smoothly as possible with internal and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities
Analysing and preparing greenhouse gas emissions, energy and environmental indicators and other related topics
- Collaboration in answering extensive questionnaires on our sustainability performance from ESG ratings such as CDP
- Further developing our strategy by familiarising ourselves with frameworks such as the EU taxonomy, standards for energy and environmental management and data analysis tools
- Coordination with internal stakeholders on the assigned tasks
Requirements
Ongoing studies in engineering, business administration, sustainability or similar disciplines with content related to the role
- Practical experience or vocational training is an advantage
- Enjoy working with large amounts of information (Excel, Google Sheets and databases); developing methods; structuring requirements; and deriving insights from them, e.g. to prioritise topics
- A careful, orderly and structured way of working
- A quick grasp and a high degree of reliability and attention to detail
- Strong knowledge of Office tools (Excel, Google Sheets) and the ability to quickly familiarise yourself with new web-based tools
- Fluent in English and German
