Analyzing data to derive business insights
As the Marketing Data Analytics team we conduct quantitative analyses about our customers, marketing channels and attribution modeling. In close collaboration with the Marketing Data Science, Tracking and Marketing Technology team we gather, analyze and visualize data. Together with our main stakeholders, the Marketing and CRM teams, we derive business insights from data.
Now we are looking for a Data Analyst (m/f/d) to join our team!
What you will do
- Conduct in-depth analyses on customer behavior to identify customer segments and develop actionable insights
- Collaborate with multiple stakeholders across the organization to answer marketing-related questions with analytical insights, supporting business decision-making
- Conduct complex analyses (mainly using SQL) based on different data sources (e.g., transaction data, web/app tracking data, marketing partner data)
- Design and build custom dashboards based on Google BigQuery (e.g., in Google Looker Studio), enabling self-service analytics for stakeholders
- Focus on outcome with a hands-on attitude to facilitate practical solutions
Who you are
- Advanced proficiency in SQL for complex data analysis and querying large datasets
- Working knowledge of a programming language for data analysis (Python preferred)
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Looker Studio, Tableau, or similar) to create compelling dashboards and reports
- Advanced knowledge of statistical analysis for experiment design and interpretation
- Strong understanding of customer segmentation and cohort analysis in the e-commerce context
- Proactive and self-driven, with the ability to work independently and drive projects from conception to completion
- Collaborative mindset, adept at working with cross-functional teams and building strong relationships with stakeholders
- Pragmatic approach to problem-solving, consistently delivering efficient, data-driven solutions.
- Attention to detail and commitment to data quality and accuracy
- Excellent communication skills, enabling the translation of complex data analysis into clear, actionable insights for diverse stakeholders.
- Open-minded and curious to learn about new topics
Nice to have
- Working knowledge of DBT
- Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Google BigQuery)
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git)
