What you will do
- Develop, maintain, and optimize continuous integration and deployment processes to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with software development teams to streamline development workflows on platforms like GitLab.
- Manage and scale our Kubernetes clusters, improving deployment strategies and system reliability.
- Manage, monitor, and ensure the reliability and security of our cloud infrastructure across AWS, GCP, and other cloud services.
- Implement and oversee automated system updates and deployment routines using configuration management tools.
- Maintain and enhance monitoring solutions (such as Datadog and New Relic) that ensure proactive responses to issues and maintenance needs.
- Document architectural designs and requirements for DevOps practices, contributing to the continuous improvement of our infrastructure.
Who you are
Proven experience in DevOps or systems engineering, with a strong background in using cloud services such as AWS, GCP, and related technologies.
- Proficiency in managing containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Solid understanding of CI/CD systems, configuration management, and version control (GitLab preferred).
- Ability to script and automate routine tasks to improve system efficiency and reduce the likelihood of human error.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the capability to work under pressure and adapt to fast-paced environments.
- Proficiency in coding with Python or Go, which is beneficial for automation and development tasks.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, essential for working cross-functionally with different technical teams.
