(Junior) Sales Manager (m/f/d) – EDITED (temporary parental leave cover)

For the EDITED-Wholesale team in Berlin, the focus is on trusting, long-term partnerships for the biggest and most exciting fashion retailers europewide. Some of the most exciting concept stores and e-commerce players are already on board and more are joining. 

As a (Junior) Sales Manager (m/f/d) – EDITED (temporary parental leave cover) you will be working closely with our sales agents to drive sales, generate new customers and manage your own portfolio. With your experience in wholesale sales, customer service and acquisition you can actively contribute your potential in sales.

Responsibilities

  • Support your agents in the onboarding of new partners, including the negotiation of contracts and conditions

  • Support on the coordination of our showroom and preorder preparations, from photoshooting, B2B shop set up and lookbook creation
  • Responsible for order consolidation and integration into our systems
  • Follow up on stock management and order deliveries to customers
  • Creation & optimisation of reports to analyze the respective customer performance as well as derivation of measures
  • Continuous support on inseason management - from analysis of performance, restocking of bestsellers to merchandise exchanges and returns
  • Maintain active communication with our partners and agents
  • Improve customer service and satisfaction
  • Cooperate constantly with internal teams such as Design, Buying, Merchandising and Marketing in order to optimize the brand assortment
  • Regular reporting of KPI's
  • Market and competition analysis

Requirements

  • Successfully completed bachelor's or master's degree in fashion management, economics or a comparable course of study

  • ​​At least 2 years of professional experience in wholesale sales, merchandising, purchasing preferably in the fashion/lifestyle industry
  • A network in the fashion industry is a plus
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Confident, convincing appearance and enthusiasm
  • Good understanding of the fashion and retail market
  • Independent, structured and result-oriented way of working
  • Confident knowledge of German and English (written and spoken)
  • Good analytical skills and confident use of MS Excel and PowerPoint
  • Hands-on mentality and willingness to travel
