Then you are the right person to support our IT Payment Team, for which we are looking for an (Senior) Incident Manager (m/f/d).

The Payment team is responsible for the complete payment lifecycle, from customers first placing their orders within the Checkout to handling the refund of a returned item weeks later. Between these two points, the team interacts with a multitude of internal and external players, spanning from internal business to other tech teams and multiple payment providers in a variety of countries. The applications the Payment team maintains span from high traffic & fault tolerance API hubs to security-conscious and reliable backend processing engines.

What you will do

  • Be actively involved in the coordination, management and follow up of incidents

  • Support in the investigation, identification & allocation of root causes of incidents
  • Be a key member of the team & company’s processes, striving for improvement at all steps
  • Be an active driver in the company’s path towards constant improvement while working closely with teams of diverse skill sets, backgrounds and specialities
  • Work closely with leadership to prioritize, design and implement solutions aimed at improving existing processes, increasing efficiency and instill resilience across the company
  • Work in a highly impactful position within a large & complex system

Who you are

  • You are able to work independently and to be an active advocate for changes and improvements across teams.
  • You are able to define, follow and iterate on working processes (internal or involving stakeholders) to ensure efficiency is maintained at all times.
  • Comfortable working in an IT environment with complex systems & processes.
  • Comfortable working in a data first environment and you are able to adequately contextualize incidents in terms of business value & business risk.
  • You are able to balance solution-oriented and pragmatic solutions to support the resolution of incidents with a detail oriented approach to ensure operational excellence
  • You have at least 4 years of experience with the standard practices of Incident Management (ITSM, SLA;s, etc.)
