Our Group Finance Team ensures that the financial results of the entire group are transparent, reliable, and delivered on time. The team supports management with precise analyses, reports, and commentaries on the monthly financial statements, laying the foundation for well-informed decision-making. They ensure compliance with accounting standards, maintain high data quality, and drive the consistent application of financial policies across the group.
As a (Junior) Group Finance Manager – Closing Processes (m/f/d), you will play a key role in the monthly closing cycle. You will be responsible for calculating and assessing provisions, analyzing and explaining monthly business results to management, and significantly contributing to the accuracy and quality of the financial statements. In addition, you will help further develop our closing processes and bring your expertise to continuously improve transparency, efficiency, and compliance within the finance organization.
Responsibilities
Oversee the monthly closing process in close collaboration with Accounting
- Prepare, analyze, and comment on monthly management reports and KPIs
- Ensure the quality of group-level financial data
- Perform variance, trend, and ad-hoc analyses to support management
- Further develop and optimize closing and reporting processes as well as related systems and tools
- Act as a sparring partner for the executive team and department leads on financial matters
- Support budget, forecast, and planning processes
Requirements
Degree in business administration or economics, ideally with a focus on Controlling, Finance, or Accounting
- 2–5 years of professional experience in Group Accounting or Audit
- Excellent command of MS Excel and ERP systems
- Very good English skills, both written and spoken
- Strong analytical mindset and enjoyment working with numbers and KPIs
- High motivation, structured approach, and ability to work independently
- Experience with SAP FI/CO is an advantage
- SQL knowledge is a plus
