As part of the ABOUT YOU FINANCE division, the accounting team takes care of the accounting of all business transactions in accordance with HGB (German Gaap) and IFRS. This provides the data basis for internal and external reporting. Another area of responsibility is financial accounting, including accounts receivable and accounts payable management as well as merchandise accounting. As a member of our team, you will contribute to the digitalization and continuous development of accounting processes.
As our new Junior Accountant – Non Merchandise (Accounts Payable) (m/f/d) you will be responsible for the processing of business transactions in accounts payable and financial accounting, as well as the further development of the underlying business transactions and work together with a young and committed team.
Responsibilities
Processing various business transactions in accounts payable accounting
- Checking and account assignment of incoming invoices in COUPA
- Communicating with various departments to ensure an optimal invoice approval process
- Communication with suppliers
- Processing and clarification of open items
- Management and processing of invoice mailboxes
- Support with projects to optimize accounting processes
Requirements
Completed training as an accountant, tax clerk, industrial clerk or comparable qualification
- First professional experience in accounting, ideally from the e-commerce environment
- Good IT user skills with SAP, Coupa, Zendesk and MS Office an advantage
- Independent, proactive way of working and good communication skills
- Good Knowledge of English language
