As the Pricing Team, we are responsible for analyzing and setting the sales and selling prices of the entire assortment at ABOUT YOU. We control the assortments according to KPI specifications via optimal prices. Together we work on the continuous development of all pricing processes and tools and regularly create time series forecasts and analyses. In addition, we also take care of the best possible pricing and optimization. Our goal is to offer all items in the online store at competitive prices that are as attractive as possible for the customer. And for this we need exactly you in our team!
As our new (Senior) Pricing Manager (m/f/d), you will not only analyze and control the sales prices for the entire ABOUT YOU assortment in more than 20 markets, but also deal with pricing aspects of go-to-market strategies and competitive analyses. In addition, you will play a key role in providing business insights to our Pricing Engine team, which is working on a machine learning algorithm for price optimization.
Responsibilities
Perform operational price control based on internal planning KPIs as well as our competitive positioning for more than 20 markets
- Understand ABOUT YOU's assortment performance and derive concrete measures for optimization
- Sparring partner for the pricing engine team and communicate with other departments to align pricing actions
- Identifying and developing new creative ideas or projects that strengthen our pricing approach
- Create and continue to develop robust reports to monitor performance KPIs
- Improve and drive implementation of automated pricing processes
- Conduct A/B testing on pricing and quantify the impact of different discount types on ABOUT YOU's performance
Requirements
Good academic performance and degree from a top university in economics, business administration or other disciplines with a strong quantitative focus
- Min. 5 years of experience in pricing, controlling, or analytics - ideally with industry experience in fashion or eCommerce
- Advanced MS Office skills (especially Excel)
- Strong analytical skills and a strong understanding of numbers
- Strong personality for working in a fast-paced scale-up environment
- Quick perception and structured way of working
- Strong written and verbal communication skills (English & German)
- Nice-to-have: SQL experience or interest in learning it
