ABOUT YOU expands warehouse network with location in Slovakia
ABOUT YOU, Europe´s digital fashion destination for an inspiring and personalised shopping experience, is expanding its warehouse network in Slovakia together with Ingram Micro. Since end of last year, the new location has been under construction as an addition to the existing warehouse. The official groundbreaking took place on 17 June 2021 – the opening is planned for autumn 2021.
The new location was chosen primarily because of good connections to the markets in Central and Eastern Europe, in order to ensure fast delivery to customers as growth continues there. The partner in the project is Ingram Micro Commerce & Lifecycle Services, one of the leading providers of e-commerce fulfilment solutions and third-party logistics.
Henryk Patzelt, Director Logistics: “While planning our expansion towards Central and Eastern Europe, we were looking for a flexible and logistically well-connected location. We are pleased to have found this location in Slovakia and to start operating with the warehouse at the end of the year.” The expansion of the warehouse network supports the continued strong and also future planned growth of ABOUT YOU.
