The decision is final: the online fashion shop ABOUT YOU has found its new Instagram face for @aboutyoude – her name is Melisa, and she’s 26-years old. Over the past four weeks, the company called for candidates for the #bestjobever on Instagram, Facebook, and on the airwaves and, thanks to the innovative growth hacking method, achieved an enormous echo in the social media world with only a low budget investment. With the social media campaign, the purely online player reached more than five million users and achieved Stories reach of over a million.

In the course of the application process of the large-scale social media campaign, candidates were requested to post a job application story via Instagram with the hashtag #bestjobever and the tag @aboutyoude. The best candidates were invited to an exclusive Meet & Greet event at the ABOUT YOU headquarters in Hamburg. After an interview with the job jury – Sofia Tsakiridou, Riccardo Simonetti and the ABOUT YOU Content Creation Team – the three finalists took over the ABOUT YOU Instagram account for a day and had to prove themselves in a challenge and make a persuasive pitch for the fans and followers of ABOUT YOU.

It really is the best job ever”, explains the happy winner Melisa Dobrić. In September, she will be flying out to the New York Fashion Week with the ABOUT YOU Content Creation Team and reporting live from the event for fans and followers at @aboutyoude.
