(Junior) Compensation & Benefits Specialist (m/f/d)

In our Analytics, Systems & Total Rewards team, we act as strategic partners to P&O. Through in-depth analyses, we manage personnel cost growth, optimize HR processes, and design an attractive and competitive compensation strategy. Our goal is to actively shape and implement the HR strategy with smart solutions, thereby contributing positively to the company’s success.

As a (Junior) Compensation & Benefits Specialist (m/f/d), you will support the design, implementation, and further development of our compensation and benefits programs. Together with the team, you will also take on responsibility for our equity programs, making a key contribution to the attractiveness and competitiveness of our total rewards strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Support the further development and administration of our compensation & benefits structures

  • Contribute to the end-to-end management of our employee participation programs (e.g., granting, vesting, settlement)
  • Collaborate closely with key stakeholders such as Finance, HR, and external partners
  • Assist in preparing reports, analyses, and presentations on compensation and equity topics
  • Support benchmarking projects and market analyses to ensure competitiveness
  • Act as a point of contact for employees on operational compensation & benefits questions

Requirements

  • Initial practical experience or internships in HR, ideally with exposure to compensation & benefits or finance

  • Strong analytical thinking and numerical skills, combined with a structured way of working
  • Interest in complex processes and enthusiasm for shaping them collaboratively in a team
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to explain detailed topics in a clear and simple way
  • Excellent German and English skills, both written and spoken
  • Confident use of MS Excel and an interest in working with data
