We are the accounting team and, as part of the ABOUT YOU Finance division, we take care of the accounting of all business transactions according to HGB and IFRS. We thus provide the data basis for internal and external reporting requirements. Another area of responsibility is financial accounting, including accounts receivable and accounts payable management as well as merchandise accounting. As our new Accounting Manager (m/f/d), you are responsible for critical processes within accounts receivable, accounts payable and financial accounting. You ensure proper accounting in your processes and independently drive process optimisations. You will be supported operationally by our accountants in the processing of business transactions. You work in a team of about 20 people and are part of our constantly growing finance department. Responsibilities
Responsibility for special valuation topics, special topics and projects relating to accounting/balancing, taking into account national (HGB) and international (IFRS)
- Accounting (implementation of new or modified business processes, optimisation of the closing processes in SAP and NAVISION).
- Responsibility for one of the critical processes within accounts receivable, accounts payable and financial accounting
- Collaboration in the preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements
- Coordination of internal departments (esp. controlling, taxes and auditing) and external auditors
Requirements
A completed degree in the field of economics with focus on finance
- Several years of professional experience in the field of finance, as an auditor for an auditing company and/or in a tax consulting profession
- Experienced in the use of an ERP system Experience with SAP R3 (FI/CO) and/or Microsoft Dynamics NAV is an advantage
- Enjoying complexity and good analytical thinking skills
- Independent, proactive way of working and good communication skills (also in English)
- Very good MS Office skills
