Our Merchandise Management team ensures the optimal planning and management of our assortments through various reports, analyses and forecasts and drives the continuous development of our planning and controlling processes.
As a Merchandise Planner (m/f/d), you work in a highly analytical and strategic way, keeping an overview of all relevant purchasing and procurement key figures. As the area is very dynamic and is constantly being developed, you will have the opportunity to contribute your creativity and innovative strength in order to optimise Merchandise Planning.
Responsibilities
Strategic planning of the merchandise assortments on a half-yearly basis and preparation of seasonal forecasts
- Support in price control
- Controlling of relevant purchasing and procurement key figures and preparation of ad-hoc analyses and reports
- Analysis of assortment performance and derivation of optimisation measures
- Design and development of internal departmental planning and controlling processes
- Participation in projects relevant to purchasing and planning (e.g. with regard to process optimisation and the development of new controlling tools)
Requirements
Degree in economics, ideally with a focus on controlling or comparable training
- At least two years of professional experience in controlling or merchandise management, preferably in the fashion or e-commerce sector
- Good knowledge of merchandise management systems and very good knowledge of MS Excel
- Good command of English
- Strong analytical skills and entrepreneurial thinking
- Creativity in developing new solutions
